Jerith Driveway & Pavers: The Miami Owner’s Guide
We stock and install Jerith-compatible driveway and paver replacement parts across the Miami area, with most parts matched and installed within the same visit. Installed pricing typically lands between $413 and $1,180 for standard gate and paver components, while full driveway edge restoration involving multiple parts runs higher. You’ll usually notice the failure first: a gate that drags on the pavers, a paver that has shifted and now catches the gate’s bottom rail, or a driveway edge that’s started to crumble where the gate swings over it. That dragging sound against the concrete is the part telling you it’s done.

We’re an independent Miami service provider, not affiliated with Jerith. What that means for you is we match parts honestly and don’t push a brand markup when a quality equivalent does the same job for less.
Which Jerith Models This Applies To

Jerith has made aluminum and steel residential gates for decades, and the driveway and paver connection points vary by model family. The parts we most often match in Miami are the bottom rollers and guide wheels on sliding gate models, the hinge posts and mounting brackets on swing gates, and the ground-track components that sit flush with your driveway surface. Older Jerith sliding gates use a V-track wheel assembly that rides on a metal track set into the pavers; newer models use a cantilever design where the gate hangs off rollers and never touches the driveway at all.
Here’s the compatibility gotcha that costs Miami owners money: many Jerith gates have a small aluminum ID tag riveted to the frame, usually near the top rail or on the hinge side. If that tag is gone, you need to measure the gate opening width and the wheel bracket spacing before buying anything. A wheel assembly for an 8-foot Jerith gate is not the same as one for a 12-foot opening. We measure on site during the estimate, which is one reason we don’t sell parts sight-unseen.
On the paver side, Jerith doesn’t manufacture pavers themselves. What you’re dealing with is usually the interface: the concrete or paver pad under the gate, the ground track embedded in the pavers, or the post footing that’s shifted in Miami’s wet-dry soil cycle. We match OEM parts when they’re still available, and we stock quality aftermarket equivalents for discontinued Jerith components, including the older Colonial and Estate gate lines that Jerith no longer supports directly.

Signs Your Jerith Driveway & Pavers Is Failing
- The gate scrapes or drags across the driveway surface. This usually means a bottom roller has seized or the gate has sagged out of square. Left alone, it gouges a crescent-shaped scar into your pavers that costs more to fix than the roller itself.
- You can see daylight under one side of the gate but not the other. That’s a hinge or post that’s pulling out of its footing. In Miami’s limestone and sandy soil, we see this constantly after heavy summer rain softens the ground around the post.
- The gate stops halfway and needs a shove. On sliding models, the V-track has worn or a wheel bearing has flat-spotted. The gate still looks fine from the street, but it’s chewing up both the track and your paver edge every time it moves.
- Pavers around the gate posts are sinking or cracking. Water follows the post into the ground and erodes the base underneath. What starts as a 1/4-inch dip becomes a full paver replacement if the base washes out completely.
- The gate slams shut when it should close slowly. Jerith gates with self-closing hinges rely on spring tension. When the spring snaps or the closer cylinder loses pressure, the gate becomes a hazard in a Miami windstorm.

AfterReplacement Cost & What’s Included

For Jerith driveway and paver work in Miami, here’s what you can expect to pay installed:
| Part | Installed Price Range |
|---|---|
| Gate roller or wheel assembly (sliding gate, per side) | $413 – $825 |
| Hinge post replacement with concrete footing | $470 – $1,180 |
| Ground track replacement set into driveway | $531 – $1,180 |
| Paver repair or reset around gate area (per section) | $295 – $825 |
| Full paver driveway installation under gate system | $8,260 – $21,240 |
The range depends on whether the post footing needs new concrete, whether we’re matching an existing paver pattern or starting fresh, and whether the gate needs to be removed and rehung to access the part. Every quote is written, itemized, and fixed before we start. No verbal number that grows when the invoice comes. The 365-Day Done Right Promise covers the parts we install and the labor that puts them in. If something we installed fails within a year, we come back and make it right at no charge.
Isaac Pruett reads a job site fast and gives you a straight number with no padding. That’s how we’ve worked Miami neighborhoods for over a decade, including plenty of jobs in Coconut Grove where driveway pavers and gate hardware have to survive salt air and daily storms.
DIY or Call Us?
Some things you can check safely on your own. Look for the ID tag on the gate frame. Note whether it’s a sliding or swing model. Measure the gate opening. Watch how it moves: does it bind at one point, or drag the whole way? That information saves a trip and helps us match the part before we arrive.
What we don’t recommend is removing a gate panel yourself. Even a residential aluminum Jerith gate weighs more than it looks, and the spring tension on self-closing models can release suddenly. We’ve been called out to rehang gates that came off their hinges when a homeowner loosened the wrong bolt first. It costs more to fix that than the original repair would have.

FAQs

Most Jerith gate rollers and hinges last 5 to 10 years in Miami’s climate, but salt air and heavy rain can cut that to 3 to 5 years if the hardware isn’t cleaned and lubricated regularly. Pavers around the gate area typically last 15 to 25 years before the base needs attention, but the section under the gate wears faster because it takes constant impact and water runoff. Call (850) 780-8123 if your gate hardware is past the 5-year mark and starting to bind.
Sometimes. A seized roller can often be freed and re-lubricated, and a loose hinge post can be reset without replacing it if the concrete footing is still intact. But if the metal is worn through or the post has pulled free from its anchor, replacement is the only fix that won’t fail again in six months. We’ll show you the worn part and explain what we’re doing, so you’re never paying for a replacement when a repair would do.
Most gate roller, hinge, and track replacements take 2 to 4 hours on site, including removal, install, and testing. Paver work around the gate area usually takes a full day because the base needs to be compacted before the pavers go back down. A full paver driveway under a gate system takes 3 to 5 days depending on square footage.
We carry common Jerith wheel assemblies, rollers, hinges, and track sections on our service vehicles, along with quality aftermarket equivalents for discontinued models. If we need a specialty part we don’t have on hand, we order it and schedule the install so you’re not waiting on a gate that won’t close. We also stock parts for KraftMaid, Cambria, and Silestone on the cabinetry and surface side of our business, so our crew handles a lot of different repair work in one visit.
Tell me what you need done. I’ll tell you what it costs and when it’s finished, and I’ll mean both. Call (850) 780-8123 for a free estimate on your Jerith driveway or paver repair in Miami.
